Step 3: Sites & Slides

A game of discovery, Daring (and learning!)

This is your gameboard.

instructions

1. Pick your game piece. Do you want to be a Ground Penetrating Radar? A trowel? Or a dirt sifter?

2. Put your pieces on the START square. It's the archaeologist holding a yellow flag.

3. The youngest player goes first.

4. First player rolls the dice. Then, the player to the right draws a trivia card and reads it aloud to the person who rolled the dice.

5. If you pick the correct answer, you advance the number of spaces you rolled on the die.

6. If you get the trivia question wrong, you do not advance.

7. If you land ON a site, tool, or creation advance your piece to the square where it ends.

8. If you land ON a landslide (falling rocks), the slide sends your piece down to where it ends.

9. If you land on one of the caves, you pass through a hidden tunnel and emerge from the other cave on the board.

THE winner is...

10. ...the player who lands on the FINISH square first.

BUT, that player must roll the dice and get the EXACT number of spaces they need to land on FINISH. Otherwise, they do not advance to the end.
